Rob is an eminent expert in intellectual property project management and development with a background spanning many years in managing a wide range of intellectual property across both industrial and institutional sectors for would be entrepreneurs, companies and institutions. He has been involved in a wide range of intellectual property development projects; one of his recent successes includes his leading of and winning a £2million bid for a regional innovation strategy in the East Midlands. Rob’s recent creation of the British Library’s e-learning courses on developing and managing IP is recognised and used by individuals and professionals around the world and the website is a finalist in the ‘e-learning solution of year category’ at the annual World of Learning Awards 2008.He has advised both regional and central government including the DTI, OSI, DfES and HM Treasury on intellectual property management and innovation strategies.
